Danvers, MA — Emily C. Foley passed away peacefully following a brief illness on December 25, 2012. She was eighty-one years of age.
Born in Beverly on June 12, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Timothy and Sheila (Mangan) Foley.
Prior to retirement, Emily was employed with N. E. Telephone as an internal auditor.
Emily enjoyed time spent with her loving family and was an active communicant of St. Mary of the Annunciation Parish in Danvers. She was an avid golf and Red Sox fan and enjoyed following world politics. Emily has resided in Danvers for the past thirty years.
She leaves her brothers; Rev. James D. Foley of Danvers, Daniel M. Foley of Beverly and Michael K. Foley of Danvers. Also leaving several loving nieces, nephews, grand and great nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late John, Jeremiah and Timothy Foley Jr.
ARRANGEMENTS: A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 11am in St. Mary of the Annunciation Parish, Danvers. Relatives and friends are welcome to visitation on Friday in the Mackey Funeral Home, 22 Conant St., Danvers, from 4pm-7pm. Burial in St. Mary’s cemetery, Beverly MA.
