Kathleen T. Foley, 84


BEVERLY — Kathleen T. Foley, 84, died Thursday, January 17, at Beverly Hospital. Born in Danbury, CT, she is the daughter of the late George E. and Catherine E. (Buckley) Foley.

Being the daughter of a United States Navy Veteran, Kathleen spent her childhood in cities all over the U.S. She attended and graduated high school in Lynchburg, VA., and then continued her education and graduated from Boston University. Kathleen has lived in the North Shore area for over 60 years. She worked as an administrator at the Northeastern University School of Pharmacy for over 30 years until her retirement. She enjoyed playing Bridge and gardening. Kathleen was a member of the Beverly Senior Center and volunteered for the City of Beverly Council on Aging.

She is survived by one sister: Ann E. Wallace and her husband Adrian V. of Kennebunk, ME; one niece: Margaret A. Wallace of Shrewsbury, PA; one nephew: Christopher J. Wallace of Westerville, OH; along with many cousins. She is predeceased by her brother John J. Foley.

ARRANGEMENTS: A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Saint Mary Star of the Sea Church, 253 Cabot Street, Beverly, on Tuesday at 11 A.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. A visiting hour will be held prior to the Mass at the Campbell-Lee, Moody Russell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly (North Beverly Location), from 9:30-10:30A.M. Burial will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made in Kathleen’s Memory to the Beverly Senior Center and Council on Aging, 90 Colon St., Beverly, MA 01915.
