Imogene H. Cole, 91


Beverly — Mrs. Imogene H. (MacRae) Cole, 91, beloved wife of the late Earland D. Cole Jr., died Monday, January 21, 2013, at the Essex Park Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Beverly.

Born and raised in Rowley, she was the daughter of the late Stephan and Bessie (Hammons) MacRae. She graduated from Ipswich High School.

As a young woman, Mrs. Cole had been employed by the General Electric Company in Lynn.

She is survived by a daughter, Susan Cole of Beverly, two sons, Robert Cole and his wife, Valerie of Beverly and Ronald Cole and his wife, Cathy of Kingston, NH, four grandchildren, Tracy, Eric, Jeffrey and Aaron, three great-grandchildren, Haley, Cole and Tyler, four brothers, Robert MacRae of Ipswich, Douglas MacRae of TN, David MacRae of MD and Steven MacRae of Beverly, several nieces, nephews and many dear friends and staff at the Essex Park Nursing Center in Beverly. She was also the sister of the late Betty Reda, Dorothy Grady, Brenda LaPlune, Donald MacRae and Lewis MacRae.

ARRANGEMENTS: A funeral service will be held in the Campbell–Lee, Moody, Russell Funeral Home, 9 Dane Street, Beverly (downtown location), Wednesday at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. A visiting hour will be held prior to the service on Wednesday from 9 to 10 a.m. Burial in North Beverly Cemetery.
