Elizabeth Hale (Trefry) Lausier, 85


Marblehead — Elizabeth Hale (Trefry) Lausier, 85, of Marblehead, passed away at Salem Hospital on January 22, 2013. Born in Newburyport, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Elizabeth (Johnson) Trefry.

She graduated from Salem Hospital School of Nursing in 1950 and was a school nurse in Marblehead for several years.

Elizabeth is survived by her children, Elizabeth Morgan of Mendon, Nev., Emily Smith and her husband, David of Marblehead, Abigail Murphy and her husband, Timothy of Oxford, Miss., Gabrielle Hunt and her husband, David of Weare, N.H., and Hannah Stone and her husband, Ethan of Swampscott; her brother, LTG (Ret.) Richard G. Trefry and his wife, Jacquelyn of Clifton, Va.; and her grandchildren, Katherine Jenkin, Betsy Johnson, Sarah Michaud, Alexandria Michaud, Nicholas Michaud, Timothy Michaud, Hunter and Amelia Smith, Hayley, Thomas, and Patrick Murphy, and Maeve Hunt. She was also the grandmother of the late Nathaniel Michaud.

ARRANGEMENTS: A funeral service will be held at the Eustis and Cornell Funeral Home, 142 Elm Street, Marblehead on Tuesday, January 29, at 11 a.m. Burial to follow in Waterside Cemetery, Marblehead.
