Katherine Ann (Killam) O’Brien, 52


Danvers — Mrs. Katherine “Kathy” Ann (Killam) O’Brien 52, of Danvers, died Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Beverly Hospital following a brief illness.

Born in Danvers, she was the daughter of Floyd L. Killam of Maine and the late Pola (Chung) Killam. She was raised and educated in Danvers and was a graduate of Danvers High School, class of 1977, and continued her education graduating from North Shore Community College.

Kathy had been employed at Essex County OB/GYN Associates. She loved her work and her colleagues were very supportive of her during this difficult time. Kathy was a loving mother, sister, daughter and friend.

Kathy is survived by her beautiful daughter, Aly O’Brien of Danvers; her father, Floyd Killiam and his wife, Ruby of Maine; her siblings, Dana Killiam and his wife, Julia, Shirley Littlewood, Leslie Killiam and his wife, Pamela, Steven Killiam and his wife, Margaret and Everett Killiam; her many nieces and npehews and her dear friend, Bob Jalbert. Kathy was the daughter of the late Pola Killiam and sister of the late, Bradley Killam. She will be missed by all who knew her.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to her memorial service, which will be held in the First Church of Danvers, Congregational, 41 Centre St., Danvers, Saturday, March 9th at 10 a.m. Following the memorial service all are invited to celebrate and remember Kathy’s life at the Polish Club, 12 Cheever St., Danvers, from 11:30 to 4 p.m. Assisting the family with the arrangements is the Peterson-O’Donnell Funeral Home, 167 Maple St., (rte. 62) Danvers.
