Katherine Ann (Killam) O'Brien, 52


Danvers — Mrs. Katherine "Kathy" Ann (Killam) O'Brien 52, of Danvers, died Saturday, February 2nd, 2013 at Beverly Hospital following a brief illness, surrounded by her family members and her very close friends.

Born in Danvers, she was the daughter of Floyd L. Killam of Bradenton, Fla. and the late Pola (Chung) Killam. She was raised and educated in Danvers and was a graduate of Danvers High School, class of 1977, and continued her education graduating from North Shore Community College. Kathy had been employed at Essex County OB/GYN Associates. She loved her work and her colleagues were very supportive of her.

Kathy was a loving mother, sister, daughter and friend. Kathy is survived by her beautiful daughter, Alyson O'Brien of Danvers; her father, Floyd Killam and his wife, Ruby of Bradenton, Fla.; her siblings, Dana Killam and his wife, Julia, Shirley Littlewood, Leslie Killam and his wife, Pamela, Steven Killam and his wife, Margaret and Everett Killam; her many nieces and nephews and her dear friend, Bob Jalbert. Kathy was the sister of the late Bradley Killam.

Kathy was a fun loving person with a beautiful spirit and will be missed by all who knew her.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to her memorial service, which will be held in the First Church of Danvers, Congregational, 41 Centre St., Danvers, Saturday, March 9 at 10 a.m. Following the memorial service all are invited to celebrate and remember Kathy's life at the Polish Club, 12 Cheever St., Danvers, from 11:30 to 4 p.m. Assisting the family with the arrangements is the Peterson-O'Donnell Funeral Home, 167 Maple St., (Rte. 62) Danvers.
