Arthur J. Saulnier, 84


Danvers, MA — Mr. Arthur “Art” J. Saulnier, 84, passed away peacefully at his home with his loving family by his side. Art was born in Lynn in 1928 to Elisee and Jeanne (LeBlanc) Saulnier. He was a 1947 graduate of St. Jean’s High School in Lynn. He served in the Army during the Korean War. Art worked for 25 years at EG&G in Salem in the electronic components division. He enjoyed spending time with his family, was an avid candlepin bowler, loved animals, and particularly enjoyed conversing with family and friends. He was a communicant of St. Richards Parish in Danvers for many years.

Arthur is survived by his wife of 58 years, Evelyn G. (White) Saulnier, and their three children and spouses, Donna and John Miedzionoski of Beverly, Janis Saulnier and Carole Germano of Beverly, and John and Theresa Saulnier of Peabody. “Pampy” also leaves four grandchildren, Erin Miedzionoski of Mesa Ariz., and Jessica Miedzionoski, Peter and Daniel Saulnier, all of Peabody. He is survived by his brother, Francis “Washy” Saulnier of Middleton, and was predeceased by his parents and siblings, Bill, Ray, Ella, Bea, Eldridge, and Peggy.

The family would like to express their appreciation to Associated Home Care and Hospice of the North Shore for the care and compassion provided to Art and his family.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are kindly welcome to visitation on Friday evening in the Mackey Funeral Home, 22 Conant St., Danvers, from 4 to 7 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, at 9 a.m., in St. Richard Parish, Forest St., Danvers.
