James I. Kaden, 72


Methuen — James I. Kaden, 72, of Methuen, formerly of Salem, entered into rest on August 5, 2013, at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington. He was the beloved husband of Mildred (Finn) Kaden. He was born in Salem, and was the dear son of the late Leo and Frances Kaden. He was a graduate of Salem High School and attended Merrimack College.

Mr. Kaden was a retail buyer for the former Jordan Marsh Stores and Rich’s Department Stores for many years prior to his retirement. He also enjoyed working as a car insurance appraiser.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by eight devoted children, Kimberly Kaden, Karen Noel, Keith Kaden and his wife, Judy, Kurt Kaden, Cheryle Falls and her husband, Vincent, the late Robin Williams and her husband, Donald, Kathleen Lorenzo and her husband, Craig, and Stephanie DiBurro and her husband, Peter; he was the cherished grandfather of Vincent Jr., Jarred, Bradley, Brittany, Corey, Janice, Lyndsey, Lacey, Emily, and Jessica; and adored great-grandfather of Kayleigh and Payton. He was also the loving brother of the late Anita Kaplan.

ARRANGEMENTS: Graveside services will be held at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, 185 Lake Street, Peabody, on Wednesday, August 7, at 12 p.m. Memorial observance will be announced at the service on Wednesday.
