Mrs. Janette E. (Anger) Gotts, 78, of Danvers, beloved wife of David Gotts, died unexpectedly Monday, January 30, 2012.
Born in Buffalo, New York, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Florence (Webber) Anger. She was raised and educated in Buffalo, New York.
A longtime resident of the Town of Danvers, Jan spent many years providing day care for her many adored grandchildren as well as local families. Jan had a love for the Boston Red Sox and Bruins and would watch all the games while knitting countless sweaters for grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many great nieces and nephews. She truly enjoyed spending her time bowling, knitting and camping with her friends at Old Stage Campground, yet above all else, her family was paramount. Janette loved returning home to Buffalo for the yearly family reunions and the many trips to Las Vegas with her sisters. She was a devoted wife, sister, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be deeply missed.
In addition to her loving husband David of fifty seven years, Janette is survived by her daughters, Cindy Gotts of Danvers and Melanie Moon and her husband Peter of Middleton, her sons, Mark Gotts of Middleton, David Gotts and his wife Lynda of Danvers and Brett Gotts and his wife Maryanne of Topsfield, her fifteen grandchildren, Jessica, Rachel, Matthew, Vanessa, Michelle, Faith, Christopher, Amanda, Lindsay, Courtney, Emily, Brittany, Cassidy, Andrew and Keira and her great grandchild Colby. She was also the mother of the late Jeffrey Gotts who passed away in 2004. Janette also leaves her sisters Loraine Baier of Alpharetta, GA, Audrey Gale of West Seneca, NY, Patricia Heil of Cheektowaga, NY, and Nancy Wangler of Depew, NY, her brothers Harold Anger of Lawrenceburg, TN, and Claude Anger of Amherst, NY, and many nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Her Funeral Service will be held in the Peterson-O'Donnell Funeral Home, 167 Maple St. (Rte 62), Danvers, Friday at 10A.M. Relatives and friends invited. Burial in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Danvers. Visiting hours Thursday from 4 to 8 P.M.
