Claire LeBrun,

Claire LeBrun (Limauro) of Peabody, MA, wife of the late Joseph "Ray" LeBrun, died peacefully in her home in Port Orange, FL on Wednesday February 1, 2012. She was 90 years old and had a wonderful life. She leaves behind five children, Linda Levesque of Lynchburg, VA, Donna Leggett of Newport, RI, Joseph Ray LeBrun Jr. of Manchester, NH, Debbie LeBrun of Deltona, Fl and Rick LeBrun of Port Orange, Fl; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Adelaide Emmett of Peabody, MA, Lenora Richard of Deltona, Fl; brother, Louis Limauro of Port Orange, Fl, Preceded in death by brothers, Harry Limauro Jr. of Port Orange, Fl and Rudolph Limauro of Lynn, MA.

ARRANGEMENTS: Claire will be cremated and reunited with her husband of 56 years in Dover, NH. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Vitas Innovative Hospice Care 2381 Mason Avenue Suite 100 Daytona Beach, FL 32117.

    Born in Lynn, the son of the late Canio and Teresa (Cancellara) Civiello, he was educated at the Highland Elementary School and was a graduate of the Lynn Vocational School, in the Class of 1949. Mr. Civiello joined the Army Reserve in 1949 and was placed on active duty in 1952 during the Korean War. Following his discharge in 1954, Mr. Civiello remained on reserve duty until receiving his permanent discharge in 1960.

Colette worked as a lunch aide at the Drewicz School in Lynn and for Witham Catering and the former Clam Shell in Lynn. She was a communicant of St. Pius V Church and enjoyed sewing, quilting, working puzzles, playing cards and animals.

    Leawood, KS — Robert (Bob) Wayne Demeritt, 67, of Leawood, KS, died May 14, 2012, at his home after a long illness. Bob was born May 9, 1945, in Peabody, MA, the third child of Harold and Edythe (Castle) Demeritt. He attended Peabody schools and Northeastern University before graduating in 1967 from the University of Michigan with a degree in Far Eastern Languages and Literature. He received his Master's Degree in Oriental Languages and Literature in 1975 from KU. In the 1970's he studied and taught in Taiwan and Japan. Upon his return to the United States, he worked as Director of International Relations and Continuing Education at JCCC. He married Mary Anne Vickery in 1978. He taught Chinese, Japanese, and history at the Barstow School for over 20 years. He brought enthusiasm, intellectual curiosity, and humor to the classroom. Bob was a man of many talents. Besides his mastery of several languages, he was a calligrapher, an excellent cook, an avid reader, a mentor to many, a wonderful listener, a great story teller, and a gracious host. Most of all, he was a steadfast friend and husband.
