Salem — Mrs. Ana Mercedes de Mesa, born in the Dominican Republic and raised in San Cristobal, was the daughter of late Ramon A. Mercedes and Agueda Luisa Nina. Ana was the wife of the late Teodoro A. Mesa, and they were married for 19 years. Ana's last employment was with Droll Design in Salem. Ana loved to sew and bowl in her free time. Her favorite artist was Fernando Villalona.
Ana is survived by her three children, Reinier R. Mesa, Saggette A. Mesa and Teodoro A. Mesa; granchildren, Jem, Jeff, Beatriz, Aimee, Jaime Jr., Lizbeth, and Joel; and great-grandkids, Elyahna, Eduardo and Nasir.; sons and daughters-in-law; nephews and nieces; and brothers and sisters-in-law.
Farewell, I love you all and you will be in my heart forever. Thank you always to all my friends.
She was predeceased by her sisters and brother, Andrea, Rafael, Cristina, Luisita, Martha, and Josefa.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral Mass, which will be celebrated in Immaculate Conception Church, Hawthorne Blvd., Salem, on Wednesday, July 9, at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Harmony Grove Cemetery, Salem.
