Danvers — Jane Ann (Marshall) Miano, of Danvers, was welcomed into her Heavenly Father's arms Saturday morning at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers, with her husband and childhood sweetheart Michael of 40 years by her side.
Born and raised in Lynn and Peabody, she was the daughter of the late William Marshall whom she loved and lost at the impressionable age of 11 years, and Dorothy Jones of Peabody. She was raised and educated in Peabody and was a graduate of PHS, class of 1972.
Jane has now joined, in Heaven, a cherished daughter, Christine, her loving nephew, Justin Bybee and her dad whom she adored.
Blessed with four daughters, Jennifer (Miano) Morneau and her husband, Christopher Morneau of Beverly, Christine (Miano) Comer and her husband, Kelly Comer of Danvers, Michelle (Miano) Devaney and her husband, Eric Devaney of Danvers, Taylor Marilyn Miano and companion, Matthew Blank of Danvers. “Grammy” to Adam, Ashlyn, and Alden Comer, Rowan and Julian Morneau and William ‘Liam’ Devaney. She leaves behind her sister, Wilma and her husband, Larry Bybee of Amesbury, along with nieces and nephews.
Jane was loving … caring … nurturing … and a “Mom” to all who knew her. She was dedicated to her family with a keen ability to see the "good" in all people. Jane loved spending time in her beautiful garden where she created a wonderland of surprises for her grandbabies. Always taking in the stray animal, God’s small creatures were truly special to Jane, nursing baby bunnies, and birds back to health, she loved all animals, but especially her “Bella” who was her protector and friend. Jane loved her music and had the gift of recognizing the next "big hit" when she heard it, she had an uncanny ability to remember dates and numbers. Long relaxing car rides, shopping at the Dollar Store, and Reality TV were some simple enjoyments. Among her favorites, "Survivor" and "Teen Mom." She loved only “Dunkin’s” coffee, with just cream, and had deep, heartfelt feeling for the court cases of JonBenet Ramsey and little Caylee Anthony. She loved laughing with friends and family, looked forward to a good pool party and she made the best Frosting ever!
