Danvers — Merna Kathleen (Field) Wheeler, 82, passed away on December 14, 2012, in Beverly Hospital. She was the loving wife of the late Frederick J. Wheeler.
Born on May 6, 1930, in Juniper, New Brunswick, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Percy and Kathleen (Milbury) Field. Merna had been a local real estate broker and an appraiser for many years prior to her retirement.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Gail Wheeler of Danvers; granddaughters, Stacy Dunn and her husband Sean of Danvers, Jodi Fish and her husband Peter of Danvers; five great-grandchildren; Brittany, Emma and Zachary Dunn and Bobby and Thomas Fish; and her brother Gerald Field of Canada. She was predeceased by a brother Douglas Field.
ARRANGEMENTS: A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, December 18, 2012, in Holy Trinity Methodist Church, 16 Sylvan St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Lake St., Peabody. Visiting hours are Monday from 5-8 PM at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers.
