Beverly, Ma — Stella C. (Jordan) Lee, age 85, died Monday afternoon, Dec. 10, 2012 at the Beverly Hospital in Beverly Ma. Stella was a resident of the Blueberry Hill Healthcare Facility for the past 11 months.
Stella was the wife of the late Robert S. Lee who passed away on Jan. 16, 2011 and was married to him for 62 years. She was the daughter of the late Walter Jordan and Stella (Stefanskia) Jordan of Danvers Ma, sister, to Frederick Jordan of Danvers and sister of the late Loretta (Jordan) Dick both of Danvers Ma.
Mrs. Lee had been employed by the Hunt Memorial Hospital in Danvers in the account receivable department until her retirement in 1986.
During her 25 years of retirement, Mrs.. Lee enjoyed wintering with her husband in Palm Bay, Fl., and spending the summers in Freedom, N.H. Her late husband loved "Big Band" music and Stella cherished this love together, for over 40 years.
She is survived by three sons, David J. Lee and his wife Jan of Bonita Spring, Fl., Donald R. Lee and his wife Josie of Beverly and Dana W. Lee and his wife Gayle of Rowley; five grandchildren, Donald R. Lee II and his wife Deborah of Marlboro, Jeff Lee and his wife Traci of Marlboro, Christopher Lee, Stephanie Lee, and Brian and his wife Michelle Bonia, all of Amesbury; seven great-grandchildren, Matthew G. Lee, Christian T. Lee, Jonathan J. Lee, Olivia G. Lee, Riley Lee, Brian Bonia Jr. and Gabrielle Bonia; and several nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, December 20th from 3 to 7 p.m. at Campbell – Lee, Moody, Russell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly (North Beverly location). A Graveside Service will be at the Central Cemetery (E. Lothrop St. Entrance) on Friday, Dec 21 at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Stella's memory to the Hogan Regional Center, 450 Maple St., Hathorne, MA 01937.
