Beverly — Frances Ann (Tosi) Landolfi 94, beloved wife of the late Alfonso (Legs) Landolfi, died Tuesday, January 14, 2014, at The Girdler House Retirement Home in Beverly where she was a resident for the past three and a half years. Born and raised in Beverly, she was the daughter of the late Eugenio and Emilia Tosi. She graduated from Beverly High School in 1938. Frances had been employed for twenty years at the Beverly High School until the time of her retirement in 1990.
Frances was a passionate football fan and took great pride in her cooking, especially her homemade pasta. Frances was a devout parishioner of St. Mary’s Star of the Sea church in Beverly. Frances, or Nonna, as she was known to family and friends, will be missed by all who knew her.
Loving mother to her son, Joe Landolfi and his wife, Mary, of Acton, and daughter, Nancy Landolfi of Denver, CO. Devoted nonna to her four grandchildren, Elyse Landolfi of Los Angeles CA, Julia Landolfi of St. Petersburg, FL, Stephen Kerrigan and his wife, JJ, of Minneapolis, MN and James Kerrigan of Denver, CO. Proud bisnonna to two great-grandchildren, Jude and Neola Kerrigan. Frances is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Frances was preceded in death by her brothers, Flavio, Perino and Bruno and her sister, Dena.
ARRANGEMENTS: A funeral service will be held at the Campbell Lee, Moody, Russell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, North Beverly, Friday, January 24, 2014, at 11 a.m. Following the service, burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Beverly. In lieu of flowers, Frances requested that donations be made in her memory to the Hayward Children Education Fund, c/o Salem Five, 71 Washington St., Salem, MA 01970.
