Doris A. (LeBlanc) Boucher, 81


Peabody — Doris A. (LeBlanc) Boucher, 81, of Peabody, died Thursday, January 23, 2014, at Phillips Manor following a long illness.

Born and raised in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Homer and Dorilda (Deschamps) LeBlanc. For many years Doris was employed by GTE Sylvania in Salem. She was an active member of Ste. Anne Parish of Salem and together with her sister, volunteered for many of the parish fund raisers as well as volunteering for the Salem Council on Aging.

Doris was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister and aunt to her large extended family. A longtime member of the Salem Golden Tones. She loved music and prior to her illness, all types of dancing. She will be missed by many.

She is survived by a daughter, Denise I. McEvoy and her husband, Keith, Sr., of Peabody; a son, Michael J. Labrecque and his wife, Theresa, of Salem; two grandchildren, Adam Bettencourt and Cameron Labrecque; a brother, Arthur "Hawk" LeBlanc of Danvers; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Camille Labrecque; her brothers, Henry, Rene, Albert and Gerard LeBlanc; her sisters, Cecile Letarte, Jeannette Erwin, Rita Sewards, Grace Kapnis and Bertha Morin.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral Mass on Tuesday, January 28, 2014, at Ste. Anne Church, 290 Jefferson Ave., Salem at 10 a.m. Burial will be private. There will be no visiting hours.
