Middleton — Mrs. Mary Sarah (Campbell) Page, 88, of Middleton, beloved wife of Arthur T. Page, died unexpectedly, Thursday, January 30, 2014, at her home.

Born in Saugus, she was the daughter of the late John and Catherine (Flynn) Campbell. She was raised and educated in Middleton and was a graduate of the former Holten High School of Danvers. She continued her education at the former Burdett Business School.

Mrs. Page had been employed with the Internal Revenue Service of Andover for many years until the time of her retirement.

A resident of the Town of Middleton since the age of 9, Mary was an active member of the Middleton Historical Society, the Middleton Senior Center; she was an avid square dancer and was a member of the many Knitting Guilds and Spinning Guilds. She was lauded for her efforts to create over 500 hats for cancer patients through Dana Farber and the Lahey Clinic. She was always thinking of others and will be deeply missed.

In addition to her loving husband of 65 years, Mary is survived by her daughters, Catherine Reardon of Windham, N.H. and Ann Bukowski of Manchester, N.H.; her sons, Carl C. Page of Dover, N.H. and Daniel Page of Boulder, Colo.; her seven grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; her sisters, Genevieve Johnson of Colorado and Shirley Gould of Middleton and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Theresa Gould.

ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral service will be held in the Peterson-O’Donnell Funeral Home, 167 Maple St., (Route 62), Danvers, Monday, Feb. 3, at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends invited. Burial in Oakdale Cemetery, Middleton. Visiting hour prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Mary’s memory to the Middleton Senior Center, P.O. Box 855, Middleton, MA 01949.
