Phyllis Dearborn, 82


Salem, MA — Phyllis (Hewitt) Dearborn, 82, of Salem, died on Sunday, September 29, 2013, in the Kaplan Family Hospice in Danvers, following a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Ernest Dearborn, and the daughter of the late Harry E. and Madeline (Childs) Hewitt. Born and raised in Peabody, Phyllis was a graduate of Peabody High School, Class of 1949. She worked as an assembler for Sylvania Co. in Salem from 1952 to 1990. She enjoyed traveling and tending to her flowers in her yard.

She is survived by her brother, Elliot Hewitt of Hamilton; several nieces and nephews; her dear companion, Don Beliveau of Lynn; and a step-daughter, Susan Bradstreet, and her children, Amanda and Allison. She was the sister of the late Harry Hewitt.

ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends are respectfully invited to gather at the Solimine, Landergan and Richardson Funeral Home, 426 Broadway, Route 129, Lynn, on Friday, at 10 a.m., to follow in procession to Pine Grove Cemetery for committal services.
