Gloria L. Noyes, 90


Kingston, NH — Gloria L. Noyes, 90, died on September 29, 2013, in Smithville, Tenn., after a period of failing health.

She was born on October 27, 1922, in Hamilton, Mass., and was the daughter of the late Leo and Esther (Sullivan) Elario.

Gloria grew up in Hamilton, and was one of seven children. On October 3, 1943, she married Edward S. Noyes. Gloria was a longtime resident of Hamilton, Port Charlotte, Fla., and Kingston.

Her hobbies included, knitting, crocheting, cooking, and playing bingo.

Gloria was predeceased by her husband, Edward, who died on May 2, 1995. She is survived by her daughter, Judith Gassaway of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; her son, Edward P. Noyes of Shermans Dale, Pa.; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

ARRANGEMENTS: A calling hour will be held on Friday, October 4, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., at the Brewitt Funeral Home, 14 Pine Street, Exeter, N.H. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 4, at 11 a.m., at St. Michael Church, Exeter. Burial will follow in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Kingston. Flowers are acceptable.
