AMESBURY — Mrs. Michele (Griffin) Marciszka, 44, of Amesbury, formerly of Salem, wife of Joseph Marciszka Jr., died Friday, June 7, 2013, at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers.
Born in Salem, she was the daughter of Richard P. Griffin and the late Suzanne (Pilon) Griffin. She was raised and educated in Newbury and was a graduate of Triton High School.
Michele had been employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant with the Visiting Nurses Association of the North Shore until the time of her illness.
A loving mother, daughter, sister and friend, Michele had a true love of animals and raised prize Doberman Pinchers.
Michele is survived by her husband, Joseph Marciszka Jr. of Amesbury; her children, Dana Jr. and Joshua, both of Amesbury; her father, Richard P. Griffin of Salem; her sisters, Anne-Marie Sharkey and her husband, Peter Jr., of Salisbury and Lyn Holt and her husband, Kevin, of Salem; her niece and nephews, Zachary and Nicholas Holt of Salem, and Ryan, Cory and Kelly Sharkey of Salisbury.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral Mass which will be held in Ste. Anne’s Church, Jefferson Avenue, Salem, Saturday, June 15, at 11 a.m. As requested, visiting hours omitted. Burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem.
