Harry H. Lister Jr., 83


Avon Park, FL (formerly of Danvers) — Harry H. Lister Jr., 83, passed away on April 21, 2013.

He was the son of the late Harry H. Lister Sr. and Myrtle Walker Lister. He was preceded in death by his brother, Charlie. While living in Danvers, he was the owner of the Lister Real Estate and Insurance Agency. He moved to Avon Park in 1978 where he was the owner and operator of the Avon Landscape Nursery.

Harry was a 50 year Mason and Shriner. He was past President of the Danvers Lions Club, past President of the Danvers Twi League and past President of the Highlands Shrine Club in Sebring, Fla. He dedicated his time to the Shriners Children's Hospital in Tampa, Fla., serving as the Hospital Chairman for Highlands County, and the District Club Director for the Circus Committee, heading the children's Christmas party for the Shrine patients.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia of Avon Park, Fla.; his son, Harry H. Lister III and his wife, Molly, of Rowley; his daughter, Michelle McFeely and her husband, Frankie, of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; his daughter, Donna Tenaglia and her husband, Kurt, of Beverly; his daughter, Jennifer Macek and her husband, Joseph, of Groveland; his granddaughter, Briana McCorkell and her husband, Rory, of Charlestown; his sister, Norma Rakoczy and her husband, Roger, of Conshohocken, Pa.; and many nieces and nephews. He was the stepfather of Christopher Comeau and his wife, Melissa, of Avon Park and their children, Austin and Kayla.

ARRANGEMENTS: A memorial service was held at the Masonic Lodge in Avon Park, Fla., on April 25, 2013. The Shriners Hospital for Children became his passion and to continue to support his work for these children, donations can be made in his name to the Shriners Children's Hospital, c/o Highlands Shrine Club, P.O.
