Lynn, MA — Agnes F. (McKay) Godett, age 84, of Lynn, died suddenly on Friday, April 12, 2013. She was the wife of the late Edward J. Godett with whom she shared 51 years of marriage. She was born in Quincy, Mass., the daughter of the late Gilbert and Agnes (Mason) McKay.
She was raised in Lynn and was a graduate of Lynn Classical High School, Class of 1946. She lived in Lynn all of her life.
She is survived by four children, James E. Godett and his wife, Sheila, of Lynn, Diane G. Smith and her husband, Kenneth, of Swampscott, Terri G. McHugh and her husband, James, of Swampscott, and Thomas J. Godett and his wife, Jill, of Boxford; eight grandchildren, Jenn and Aimee Godett, Christopher and Thomas Smith, Lindsay and Andrew McHugh and Sydney and Mitchell Godett; a brother, Edward McKay, of Lynn, and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Gilbert McKay.
