SALEM — Ellen R. Paul, age 69, of Salem, formerly of Marblehead, died after a lengthy illness on Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2011 in Salem Hospital.
Born in Boston, she was a graduate of Marblehead High School and had resided in Salem the past 17 years and formerly lived in Marblehead for over 40 years. She was a volunteer at the former Temple Beth El in Swampscott, a member of Temple Emanu-El in Marblehead and the Sisterhood of Temple Shalom in Salem
Beloved wife of Jackson Paul. Dear daughter of Ruth Robinson of Swampscott and the late George Robinson. Devoted mother of Gale and her husband Shawn Barry of Danvers, Gary and his wife Tracey Paul of Danvers, Gregg and his wife Paula Oginz of Hookset, NH, Brenda Uhlig of Wyckoff, NJ, and the late Lynda Holden. Loving sister of Susan Mugnano of Salem. Cherished grandmother of Blair Uhlig, Sarah Barry, Brandon Holden, Robert Barry, Marisa Paul, and Max Paul.
ARRANGEMENTS: Services at the Stanetsky-Hymanson Memorial Chapel, 10 Vinnin St., Salem-Swampscott line on Friday, Nov. 18 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in the Workmens Circle Cemetery, Esquire Dr., Peabody. Memorial Observance at her late residence through Tuesday evening. In lieu of flowers, expression of sympathy in her memory may be donated to the Mass. General North Shore Cancer Center, ATTN: Clinical Trials, 102 Endicott St., Danvers, MA 01923.
