Leon J. "Tee" Thibault, 79


Beverly, MA — Leon J. “Tee” Thibault, 79, of Beverly, passed away at the Radius Health Care Facility in Danvers where he received wonderful care.

Leon was born in Beverly, the son of the late Leon and Elizabeth (Gray) Thibault, and was the husband of Carol (Tanguay) Thibault to whom he had been married for thirty-six years.

Leon was the owner of the Red Tee Machine Shop for over forty years before he retired more than twenty years ago. He had been a resident of Beverly for over sixteen years after being a longtime resident of Danvers. He was an avid boater and a member of the Danversport Yacht Club and was proud to have obtained his Captain's license.

Surviving Leon, in addition to his wife, Carol, are a sister, Ann Theriault and her husband, Richard, of Beverly; three step-children, Tina Nearhas and her husband, Peter, of Dracut, Ann Marie Pryde and her husband, Chris, of Round Lake Beach, Ill., and Richard Weinberg and his partner, Ronald Weinberg, of Texas; five step-grandchildren; five nieces and one nephew.

ARRANGEMENTS: His funeral will be held from the Berube & Sons Funeral Home, 191 Lafayette St., (1A/114), Salem, Mass., on Monday at 11:45 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Mary's Star of the Sea Church, Cabot St., Beverly at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Beverly.
