Beverly — Paula M. (Cote) Swett, was born April 19, 1946, in Lynn. She died peacefully on Sunday, November 11, 2012, in Peabody, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her family's love as she went to be with her son.
Paula was employed at Carlson Wagonlit Travel in Boston until her illness. She was a skilled travel agent for over 40 years. She enjoyed travel, gambling, but most of all her family.
She leaves behind her mother, Phyllis Cote of Peabody and her children, Cindy Swett of Miramar, Fla., and Shelley and Michael Mullarkey of Essex. She also leaves her daughter-in-law, Kerri and her husband, Chuck Fiumara of Peabody. Her pride and joy were her grandchildren, Amanda and her new husband, Markus Wait of Fremont, N.H., Brianna and Nicholas DiPietro of Essex, and David Swett of Peabody. Paula was the sister of Richard and Bonnie Cote of Portsmouth, N.H., Tom and Linda Cote of Derry, N.H., and Anita and Jim Hall of Moorseville, N.C. She leaves many nieces and nephews who she adored. She was predeceased by her son, Michael Swett and son-in-law, Bob DiPietro.
ARRANGEMENTS: A funeral service will be held graveside, at the Hamilton Cemetery, (Bay Road, Rte. 1A) Hamilton, on Saturday, November 24, at 1 p.m. Arrangements by the Campbell- Lee, Moody, Russell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly.
