Novato, CA — Cornelia "Connie" Hackett Halligan, a third-generation Native Californian of Irish descent, died on November 3, 2013, in San Rafael, Calif. Born in Livermore, Calif., in 1948 to Gerald and Genevieve Nevin Hackett, Connie moved with her family to Napa, Calif., in 1949. Connie attended St. John's School, Napa High School and Napa Junior College. Connie spent several years working for the Bank of America in San Francisco and then many years working in the Insurance Industry in Marin County. Connie is survived by her husband, James Halligan of Novato, Calif. (formerly of Lynn, Mass.); and her brother, Jim Hackett of San Francisco. In addition, Connie is survived by cousins throughout California and her godmother, Carmelita Murphy Slaughter in Nipomo, Calif.
ARRANGEMENTS: A memorial to Connie's life will be held in Novato, Calif., this coming April.
