Peabody — Mario J. Rodriguez, 86, Of Peabody, husband of the late, Annette Dorothy (Jermyn) Rodriguez, died on Monday, February 18, 2013, at the Pilgrim Rehabilitation and Nursing Facility in Peabody.

Mario was born in Lynn, on May 16, 1926, son of the late Mariano and Albina (Vieira) Rodriguez. He was raised and educated in Lynn and has been residing in Peabody for many years. Mario was employed as a fork lift operator for 43 years at General Electric, a position that he held until his retirement in 1988. Mario was a dance instructor at Arthur Murray’s Dance Studio in Lynn, which was where he met his late wife Annette, who had come for a dance lesson. As hobbies he enjoyed classic movies and crossword puzzles.

Mario is survived by his step-children and their spouses, Richard Cuoco of Peabody, Diane and Alfred Allain of Danvers, Robert and Mimi Cuoco of Tamsworth, N.H.; five step-grandchildren, Richard, Eric, and Luke Cuoco, and Dennis and Jason Allain; four sisters, Carmina Harris of Peabody, Rosina Cappotta of Lynn, Albina McGhee of Saugus, and Alisa Shew of California; many nieces and nephews.

ARRANGEMENTS: His funeral will be held on Friday, February 22, at 8:45 a.m., from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. James Church, 156 Federal St., Salem. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours are Thursday, February 21, 2013, from 5 to 8 p.m. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
