SALEM — Mrs. Nathalie Ann (Gangemi) Crowley, 73, of Salem, beloved wife of the late James Francis Crowley, died on March 4, 2014, at her home surrounded by her family.
Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Rose (Febonio) Gangemi. She was raised and educated in Salem, and was a graduate of Salem High School. She was a lifelong resident of the city of Salem.
Mrs. Crowley had been employed as a base server for 12 years at G.T.E. Sylvania. She was also a licensed hairdresser and cosmetologist in Massachusetts and California.
She was a longtime, dedicated communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church in Salem. Nathalie was an artist at heart and enjoyed Japanese Bunka as an art form. She was a very talented, loving and kind woman who was dedicated to her family.
Nathalie is survived by her son, James G. Crowley and his wife, Vilma, of Amesbury; her daughter, Cherese N. Crowley of Salem; and her grandchildren James G. Crowley Jr. of Amesbury, Eric Lind of Peabody, Christopher Lind of California, and Danielle M. Messinger of Newburyport. She was also the mother of the late Nancy J. Lind, and Derek James Crowley.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral Mass, which will be held in the Immaculate Conception Church, Hawthorne Blvd., Salem, on Saturday, March 15, at 11 a.m. Assisting the family with the arrangements is The O’Donnell Funeral Home 46 Washington Sq., at Salem Common, Salem.
