He is survived by his wife, Penelope (Macrinotis) Karahalis of Peabody, with whom he shared 61 years of marriage; two sons, Alan J. Karahalis of Peabody and Andrew J. Karahalis of Providence, RI; and a daughter, Paula Karahalis of Gloucester; a brother, Michael Karahalis of St. Petersburg, FL; several close cousins, nieces and nephews, among them a special cousin, James Argeros of Lynnfield and nephew, Kenneth Athas of Beverly. He was the brother of the late Leo Karahalis, Mary Athas, and Thekla Karahalis.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather on Saturday, March 15, 2014, at 9 a.m. from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, followed by a Funeral Service at 10 a.m. in St. Vasilios Greek Orthodox Church, Peabody.
