BEVERLY FARMS — Ramona Comet, beloved daughter of Bette Comet and the late Carl Comet, lost her courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, March 16, 2014. Ramona was born on August 5, 1962, in Pompton Plains, N.J. She moved to Beverly Farms at the age of 10. She was a graduate of Beverly High School, Class of 1980. Ramona received a degree from Endicott College, with a major in radio and TV. Ramona was a cook for many years at 7 Central, Manchester. Her interests included cooking, golf and playing blackjack with her father. She was also an avid Red Sox fan. She most recently worked for Glowpoint, as a video-conferencing coordinator. Ramona was also the enthusiastic videographer for the North Shore Women’s Rugby Team.
In addition to her mother, Bette Comet, she is survived by her loving companion, Karen Kapusta of Saugus; her sister, Claudette Sabbag and husband, Lew, of Reading; her sister, Marlene Comet of Essex; her brother-in-law, Peter Bright; her beloved niece and nephew, Marielle and Nicholas Sabbag; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; as well as many caring and compassionate friends. Ramona will also be missed by her "puppy," Shir-lee.
Ramona had a unique way of making everyone laugh. She brought joy into the lives of all who knew her. We love you. We miss you. Rest in peace.
ARRANGEMENTS: A memorial Mass will be held at Saint Margaret Parish, 672 Hale Street, Beverly Farms, on Saturday, at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial will be held privately. There are no visiting hours.
