Peabody — Mrs. Gloria (Tudal) Cormier, 83, of West Peabody, died Sunday, June 9, at Radius Health Care in Danvers. She was the beloved wife of Tilmon Cormier, with whom she shared 64 years of marriage.
Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Mary Elizabeth (Saulnier) Tudal. She graduated from St. Jean’s High School, Class of 1948. Gloria worked for Food Time Supermarket and as an assembler for Bostik for several years before her retirement. She was a communicant of St. Adelaide’s Church in Peabody. Gloria enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and gardening.
In addition to her husband, Gloria is survived by grandchildren, Caroline Cormier, Connor Cormier, and Christina Cormier all of Norwalk, Conn.; a daughter-in-law, Rosalind Cormier of Norwalk, Conn.; nephew, Steven Tudal and wife, Janet, of Rowley; as well as several other nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Paul A. Cormier; brothers, Arnold Tudal, Rene Tudal, Yves Tudal, Frederick Tudal; and sisters Marjorie Muise Lorraine Sigman, and Francene Mills.
ARRANGEMENTS: Gloria’s Funeral will be held from the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple St., Lynn, on Wednesday at 8:45 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be in St. Adelaide’s Church, 708 Lowell Street, Peabody, at 10 a.m. Burial to follow in St. Jean’s Cemetery, Lynn.
