Aaron Taylor Rees, 40


Ipswich — Aaron Taylor Rees, 40, of High Street, Ipswich, husband of Joan (Page) Rees, passed away peacefully at 10:30 pm on Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at the Lahey Medical Center, Burlington, following an injury-induced stroke.

Aaron was born February 14, 1973, in Rochester, NY, son of James and Mary (Switzer) Rees of Pittsford, NY, where he was raised. He is a 1991 graduate of Pittsford Sutherland High School and a 1993 graduate of Union College in Schenectady, NY, with a degree in mechanical engineering. Aaron worked for Phillips in North Andover in the marketing of medical devices.

He loved mountain biking, hiking, kayaking, traveling and being outdoors. He was a devoted father, son, brother, husband and friend. Aaron showed kindness to everyone he met, and he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his wife Joan and his parents, Aaron is survived by his children Jackson W. Rees, Isabella P. Rees and Harper A. Rees, all of Ipswich, and a brother, Kevin Rees of Novato, CA.

ARRANGEMENTS: His funeral will be held Monday at 9 am from the Whittier-Porter Funeral Home, 6 High Street, Ipswich, followed by the celebration of a Funeral Mass at 10 am in our Lady of Hope Church, Pineswamp Rd., Ipswich. Interment will be in the New Highland Cemetery, Ipswich. Family and friends are respectfully welcomed. Visiting hours are Sunday 4 to 7 pm.
