Phyllis C. (Durgin) Babb, 86


Danvers — Mrs. Phyllis C. (Durgin) Babb, age 86, of Danvers, formerly of Lynn, died on Saturday May 4, 2013, at the Kaplan Family Hospice House. She was the wife of the late Leo Babb.

Born and raised in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Catherine (Waldron) Durgin. She had lived in Lynn until moving to Danvers in 1986.

Phyllis had worked as a custodian at the Eastern Bank on Union Street for many years.

She enjoyed playing cards, walking, and gambling. She loved to spend time with her family and friends.

Phyllis is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Lemieux and her husband, Raymond, of Danvers; a sister, Frances Kaloust, of Colorado; two grandchildren, Anna Lemieux and her boyfriend, Jeffrey Coll and Rachel Lemieux and her fiancé, Daniel McMahon, all of Danvers, and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Doris Paolucci, and Richard Durgin.

ARRANGEMENTS: Her Funeral will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Solimine Landerdan and Richardson Funeral Home, 426 Broadway (Rte.129), Lynn. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours are Tuesday 4 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kaplan Family Hospice House, 78 Liberty St., Danvers, MA, 01923.
