Peabody — Louise M. “Weezy” D’Orsi, 57, of Peabody and formerly of Everett, died peacefully early Tuesday morning at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers following a brief illness.
Born in Medford, she was the daughter of Virginia (Pastore) D’Orsi of Peabody and the late Louis D’Orsi. She was raised and educated in Everett and was a graduate of Everett High School, Class of 1974. She lived in Peabody for the past six years.
Weezy was employed with Massachusetts DOT Highway Division for over 25 years before she retired due to her illness.
She was a member of the St. Anthony’s Drill Team and Alumni Association in Everett and was a member of the Everett/Saugus Elks as well. She enjoyed traveling, but her favorite time was spending time with her family and sharing in all of their endeavors.
Besides her mother, she is survived by her siblings, Diana D’Orsi, Virginia D’Orsi, and Michael and his wife, Anita D’Orsi, all of Peabody; her nieces and nephews, Abigail, Brendan, Samantha, Alexandra, Kaitlyn and Stefan; and her loving companion, her dog, Lola.
ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral service will be held on Friday at 9 a.m. at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Ann’s Church, Lynn Street, Peabody, to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
