Bedford, NH — Dr. Thomas M. Hanlon, Jr., died at CMC in Manchester following a battle with heart disease, and in recent years Alzheimer’s, surrounded by his wife and children.
Born in Salem, Mass., he was the son Mary (Curtin) and Thomas M. Hanlon, Sr.
He was doctor with the U.S. Air Force Medical Corps, retiring as a Colonel.
His family includes his wife, Elinor (Ahern) Hanlon of Bedford; two sons, Dr. Stephen Hanlon and his wife, Susan Fanburg, of Bedford and Matthew Hanlon and his wife, Angelika Grohnmeier, of Southboro, Mass.; two daughters, Megan Doherty and Brian of Manchester, N.H., and Colleen Hanlon of Syracuse, N.Y.; nine grandchildren; four sisters, Denise Rockett of Marblehead, Virginia Michaud and Charlene Hanlon of Salem, and Rosemary Dilk of Swampscott. He is also survived by Thomas III, David Hanlon, Laurie Magrane and Kathleen Langan.
ARRANGEMENTS: A Memorial Mass will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Seton Church, Bedford, NH.
