Lillian M. (Demeule) Beausoleil, 95


Salem — Mrs. Lillian M. (Demeule) Beausoleil, 95, of Salem, beloved wife of the late Leonard Beausoleil, died on Saturday, March 29, 2014, in The Lafayette, Marblehead, following a lengthy illness.

Born and raised in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Ursina (D’Amour) Demeule, and was a lifelong resident of Salem.

Lillian worked for many years as a waitress in several local restaurants. Prior to retirement, Lillian had been employed by Parker Brothers as an assembler, retiring in 1983. She was a communicant of St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Peabody for many years.

Family was most important to Lillian and she cherished the time she spent caring for and being with them. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and she will be deeply missed.

Surviving her is a son, Barry Beausoleil of Danvers; two daughters, Sandra Michaud of Australia, and Gail Levesque and her husband, David, of Indianland, S.C.; two sisters, Georgette Diamantides of Florida, and Lucy Theriault of Salem; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late Kenneth and Richard Beausoleil.

ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral Mass will be held in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Peabody/Salem line, on Wednesday, April 2, at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to meet at the church. At the request of the family, there will be no visiting hours. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem. To leave a condolence, please visit www.gonetfuneralhome.com.
