Danvers — Ana Hilda (Gonzalez) Scarpatte, 80, of Salem, passed away in the Kaplan Family Hospice House, Danvers, Thursday, March 28, 2013. She was the wife of the late Vincente Scarpatte.
Born in Dominican Republic, Ana was the daughter of the late Fidel and Eva (Veras) Gonzalez. Ana moved to Peabody in 1967 and later to Salem in 1982. She worked with the Eagle Can Company, Parker Brothers, and later with Boston Acoustics until her retirement in 1998.
She is survived by her daughters, Diana Lugo of Salem, Marlene Maloon and her husband Brad of Salem, Eira Gonzalez and her husband Jose of N.C., Laura Scarpatte of Medford, and Greicy Scarpatte of Lawrence, a sister, Australia Corsino of N.Y., thirteen grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
ARRANGEMENTS: Visiting hours are in the Berube & Sons Funeral Home, 191 Lafayette St. (1A/114) Salem, Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral Mass at St. John the Baptist Church, Chestnut St. Peabody, Thursday at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Salem.
