Sandra (Dzierzanowski) Ahearn, 58


Salem, MA — Ms. Sandra (Dzierzanowski) Ahearn 58, of Peabody, died Monday afternoon, April 8, at the Pilgrim Nursing and Retirement Home in Peabody following a brief illness.

Born in Beverly, she was the daughter of the late Alfred S. and Mary L. (Curley) Dzierzanowski. She was raised and educated in Salem and was a graduate of Salem High School, class of 1974.

Sandra loved animals, playing bingo, and reading. She enjoyed spending time in the garden and had a passion for roses. Despite the many challenges she faced throughout her life, she remained a friendly, outgoing woman of deep faith. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Sandra is survived by her brother, James Dzierzanowski and his wife Jane, of Peabody, her many aunts and uncles including, Kathleen Daffara ,of Plant City, Fla., and Alfreda Collins, of Gloucester, and many cousins and extended family.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral Mass which will be held in the St. John the Baptist Polish Church, St. Peter St., Salem, Friday at 10 a.m. Burial is in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem. As requested, visiting hours omitted. Assisting the family with the arrangements is The O’Donnell Funeral Home, 46 Washington Sq., (at Salem Common) Salem.
