Elizabeth B. Nolan, 82, died Thursday, February 2, 2012, at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
She was born September 5, 1929, in Charlestown and was the daughter of the late Bernard F. and Elizabeth A. (Murray) Doris. She was a graduate of Revere High School and of the Modern School of Fashion and Design. She and her family resided in several Massachusetts North Shore communities, California, and Southern New Hampshire.
Mrs. Nolan was a talented artist, working in watercolors, oils, and charcoal. She enjoyed sewing for her family, spending time by the ocean, and traveling.
She shared nearly 62 years of marriage with her husband, Walter T. Nolan Jr. of Brentwood.
In addition to her husband, she is also survived by her children, Kathleen McClure and her husband Charles Breece, Mary Hastings and her husband Luther, Janet Florino and her husband Richard, W. Thomas Nolan III and his wife Lori, Lynne Warner and her husband Mark, and Michael Nolan, 15 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was predeceased by her seven siblings.
ARRANGEMENTS: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, February 8, at 10 A.M. in St. Michael Church, corner of Front & Lincoln streets, Exeter, N.H. Relatives and friends are invited and may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. Tuesday, at the Stockbridge Funeral Home, 141 Epping Road, Exeter. Burial will be in the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen.
