Caroline I. Beckhusen, 68


Billerica — Caroline I. (Tillson) Beckhusen, 68, formerly of Beverly, died Thursday, March 28, 2013, at the Lahey Medical Center in Burlington, following a brief illness.

Born in Beverly, she was the daughter of the late, Chester G. and Helen C. (Richards) Tillson. She graduated from the Essex Agricultural and Technical School in Middleton.

Mrs. Beckhusen had been employed for many years as an assembler at Ma-Com in Burlington until the time of her retirement in 2005. A longtime resident of the City of Beverly, prior to moving to Billerica, she was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, companion and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her longtime companion Lloyd Miller of Billerica; two daughters, Lori Miller and her husband Wayne of Billerica, Kristina Ferguson of Marblehead; three sons, Robert Ferguson of New Jersey, Thomas J. Ferguson and his wife Stacey of Somersworth, N.H., and Dana Ferguson of Plaistow, N.H.; eleven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two sisters, Kristina DeVore of St. Louis, Mo., and Jennifer Tillson of Beverly; two brothers, Thomas A. Tillson of Lynn and Richard Tillson of Wisconsin; her loving dog “Rambo;” and several nieces and nephews.

ARRANGEMENTS: Funeral services will be held at the Campbell – Lee, Moody, Russell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly (North Beverly location), Monday, April 1, 2013, at 6:30 p.m. Visiting hours will be held prior to the service on Monday from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Interment will be private.
