Marguerite "Theresa" Ducharme, 87


Beverly — Marguerite “Theresa” Ducharme died Friday, March 29, at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers, she was 87. Born in Lowell, she was the daughter of the late Marie (Cordeau) and Alexis Ducharme. Her family settled in Beverly where she remained a lifelong resident. A graduate of Beverly High School, Theresa worked for many years as an assembler with Bomac-Varian. In her retirement she enjoyed vacations, reading, walking, and was fond of hot summer days. Theresa was also an active member of St. Mary Parish and a member of the Daughters of Isabella. She will be remembered as a loving sister and aunt.

She is survived her brother, Ron Ducharme and his wife Ann of Kingston, N.H.; her sister, Doris Murphy of Georgia; as well as many cherished nieces and nephews. Theresa was predeceased by her sisters, Jeanette Ducharme and Ruth Fleming, and brother-in-law, Leo Murphy.

ARRANGEMENTS: A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary Star of the Sea Church, 253 Cabot St., Beverly, on Saturday at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. At the family’s request there are no visiting hours. Burial will be at North Beverly Cemetery.
