Clearwater, Fla. — Elaine Moynihan passed away after a brief illness, with family by her side. Born in Danvers to Stephen and Adeline (nee Silva) Kassotis, she attended Peabody and Danvers High Schools. She owned and operated Spoilin' Spot Day Care in her home for 16 years.
Elaine is survived by her daughters, Stephanie Derocher and Jacqueline Moynihan; grandchildren, David, Mitchell, Victoria and Alex; one sister, Carol Stepenuck of Beverly; and her children, Steve, Scott, Cyndi and Debbie and many other nieces, nephews and cousins. For 34 years, Elaine was married to Francis "Bud" Moynihan of Peabody.
Elaine would have done anything for anyone she knew without hesitation. Her generosity, kind heart and love for life will be missed by all whose lives she touched.
The family is eternally grateful to Village Place Assisted Living Facility for providing Elaine with the care and love usually only associated with family.
ARRANGEMENTS: Celebration of life services will he held at St. Vasilios Church in Peabody on February 2, at 11 a.m. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Elaine's name to Village Place Assisted Living Facility (memo to Memory Care Unit/Elaine Moynihan) in Port Charlotte, FL.
