Carol Femia, 76


Swampscott — Mrs. Carol G. Femia (Fuchs), 76, beloved wife of the late James J. Femia, died peacefully at The Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers on Sunday, January 20.

Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Joseph D. and Pamelia M. (Robillard) Fuchs. She was raised in North Cambridge and was a graduate of St. Johns High School, Class of 1954.

She was a longtime resident of the town of Chelmsford for over 44 years where she raised her family, before moving to Swampscott in 2005 to be closer to her children and grandchildren.

Carol is lovingly remembered by her daughter Laurie Femia of Swampscott; a son Jim Femia and his wife Stacy; a granddaughter Leah and grandson Michael, all of Marblehead.

ARRANGEMENTS: A private family service was held on Saturday, January 26, at the Solimine, Landergan & Richardson Funeral Home, Lynn.
