Salem — Norma E. (Billings) Mignault, 77, of Salem, passed away February 15, 2013, following a lengthy illness. Born and raised in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Warren and Grace (Cavanaugh) Billings.
Norma graduated from Salem High School and attended North Shore Community College. For many years she was employed as a secretary at Liberty Equipment.
Norma was an avid distance swimmer in her youth. She once contemplated swimming the English Channel. Later in life she enjoyed playing bingo, listerning to live music and watching old movies.
She was the beloved mother of Lance Billings and his wife, Susann, of Peoria, Ariz., Rick Mignault of Waltham and William Mignault of Wakefield. She is also survived by four grandchildren and other extended family in the Aurora, Canada area.
