Sandra (Sandi) Van Horn, 66


Ipswich/Salem — Sandra (Sandi) Van Horn, 66, passed away peacefully Monday, November 11, 2013, at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington. She was born December 17, 1946, in Memphis, Tennessee and graduated from the University of Memphis with a degree in Psychology before moving to Ipswich in 1971.

She leaves her beloved husband of 42 years, Robert G. Van Horn; her sister, Sara (Walter) Smith; nieces, Denise (Cliff) Jones and Janet (Randy) Hamblen; stepchildren, John (Colleen) Van Horn, Paula Shallow, Eric (Alina) Van Horn, Kurt (Stephanie) Van Horn; seven grandchildren and 1 great-grandson.

Although she endured a debilitating diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis for many years, she never lost her sense of humor and battled the disease with grace and strength. Sandi Bear is deeply loved for her wit and compassion.

ARRANGEMENTS: A private Celebration of Life will be held for family and friends.
