Nancy Ann Young, 78, of South Paris passed into the loving arms of her maker Friday, April 20, at Market Square Health Care Center. She was born in Beverly, MA., on July 11, 1933, the daughter of Carmen and Josephine Mirandi Carone. She attended schools in Beverly and Lynn, MA., and had been a homemaker and loving mother all of her life. Nancy took pleasure in the simple beauties in life. She loved all the holidays and celebrated them with a child’s zealousness but most of all she loved her family. She is survived by her daughter Dorothy Hatch; a son Robert Young; grandchildren Josephene Hatch and Danielle Young; two sisters; Rose “Dolly” Annese and Constance Poretta; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her firstborn child. At this time the family would like to thank all her friends that loved and cared for her but mostly a special thank you to Market Square Health Care Center for the excellent care and compassion they showed her in her final days.
ARRANGEMENTS: A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, April 25, at 11 a.m. at St. Catherine of Sienna Church in Norway, ME, followed by interment at Lakeview Cemetery in Norway, ME. Family and friends may attend visitation on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Chandler Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, 45 Main St., South Paris, ME.
