Mrs. Eileen Wilhelmina (Anderson) Lyth 78 of Boxford, beloved wife of the late Robert A. Lyth died Tuesday morning at her home.
Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Mathilda (Olson) Anderson. She was raised and educated in Minneapolis.
Mrs. Lyth moved to the Town of Boxford with her husband in 1968, where she made her home and raised her family. The Town of Boxford became home for Eileen and it is a place she grew to love and make many friends.
A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Eileen was a member of the First Church Boxford, Congregational. She was an avid knitter who had a true love of the out of doors. She supported the Massachusetts Audubon Society and was an ardent Bird Watcher.
Eileen is survived by her daughters, Diane Casale of Fernandina Beach, Fl, and Sandra Donovan and her husband Brian of Wayne, New Jersey, her son Paul R. Lyth and his wife Kathy of Danvers, her grandchildren, Cheyenne, Laura, Matthew, Kelly, David, Karolyn, Benjamin, Trisha, Brianna and Collin, her sister, Laverne Lysdahl of New Hope, Minn and several nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours in the Peterson-O’Donnell Funeral Home 167 Maple St., (Rte. 62) Danvers, Thursday from 4 to 7 P.M. Funeral services are private.
