Diane C. Wiggins, 70, a resident of Gibbs Mill Road, Livermore, died peacefully on Tuesday, April 10th at Franklin Memorial Hospital in Farmington, surrounded by her loving family, following a lingering illness after suffering a stroke on November 17, 2011. She was born February 3, 1942 in Beverly, Massachusetts, the daughter of Ronald and Doris (Anthony) Sturtevant. She was a graduate of Danvers High School in Danvers, MA. On November 18, 1983 in Wilton, she married Douglas J. Wiggins. They made their home on Gibbs Mill Road in Livermore and owned and operated Furniture World. Diane enjoyed quilting, sewing, cards, especially solitaire and working in her garden. She is survived by her husband, Douglas Wiggins of Livermore; her son, Jeremy Wiggins of Livermore; her daughter, Becky Rider and her husband William of Jay; her brother, Wayne Sturtevant, sisters, Jean Sturtevant, Carol Brousseau all of Danvers, MA., and Donna Shove of Florida; grandchildren, Dylan Wiggins-Rider and Devlen Rider; and many nieces and nephews.
