Swampscott, Ma — Patricia Ann West, 69, of Swampscott, died suddenly in Beverly Hospital on Saturday, September 21, 2013. She was born and raised in Lynn, and was the daughter of the late Lester and Catherine (Upton) West. She lived in Lynn, Peabody, and in Swampscott the past 23 years.
She worked for Heritage Industries in Peabody for many years. Patricia was very involved with Northeast Arc and the deaf community.
She is survived by her two sisters, Charlene West of Lynnfield, Catherine Hartigan and her husband, Joseph, of Peabody; her nieces, Kristen Nicholson and her husband, Scott, of Foxboro, Denise Vaughn and her husband, Steve, of Yuma, Ariz.; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Christian, Olivia and Joseph Nicholson of Foxboro, and Teagan Vaughn of Yuma; and her aunt, Claire Mackesy of Lynn. She also leaves her roommates, Yvonne, Dawn and Rosemary.
ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral will be held on Thursday, September 26, at 11 a.m., from the Solimine, Landergan and Richardson Funeral Home, 426 Broadway, Route 129, Lynn followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Lynnfield, at 12 p.m. Burial will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours are on Wednesday, from 4 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations be made to the Northeast Arc, 64 Holten Street, Danvers, MA 01923.
