He treasured his time spent with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren – Jason, Jennifer, Sienna, Sarah, Danielle, Erika, Ashley, Leah, Maddie, Jack, Noah, and Max – greeting them with a smile, a song or helping them color within the lines.
Dedicated to his family, Fred was known for his hard work, humor, and love of music. As an avid reader, he celebrated his Nova Scotia heritage through stories of the sea. He enjoyed his relatives and many friends and spent precious time at home with Dolores and as an amateur mechanic, carpenter, and electrician.
